If you are successful in your case and unable to recover the money then we are able to assistant with enforcement at a further cost of £500.00 plus associated court fees and bailiff fees.

For any applications that we need to make during your case, this will be charged at £2, 750.00 plus VAT and any barrister’s costs and court fees. If you are required to attend a Case Management Hearing then we will charge a further fee of £1,000.00 plus VAT and barrister’s costs. If we need to prepare costs budget forms we will charge 2% of the budget as drawn plus VAT.

Business Premises Licences

We can assist you with your business premises licensing application. For this work we charge £1,500.00 plus VAT (currently at 20%) and any associated application fees and charges. We can help with;

  • Complete application and submit to your local council and 9 other Responsible Authorities including the Police
  • Negotiate and liaison with all the Responsible Authorities throughout the consultation period (28 days).
  • Prepare and post the public notice to be placed in the local press.
  • Prepare the Blue Notice to be displayed on your premises.

The above prices does not include your stamp duty charges and charges for registration of leases. Our legal charge for registering the lease or any work associated with land registry is £300.00 plus VAT. We estimate the land registry fees to be between £45 to £280.00, and No VAT is chargeable. If we are required to undertake ID checks, we charge an additional amount of £75.00 plus VAT per person. The fee is dependent on the work type. For example, the costs of registering a new lease could be £45.00.

As to the stamp duty fees we cannot provide any estimation as this is case dependent.

Sale and Purchase of Business or Acquisitions or shareholders agreements

Our fees for the above type of work is conducted on a stage by stage basis. The first stage, is the work we do to check all the necessary the documentations and undertake disclosure exercise to review the paperwork so that you can check your investment before proceedings further. We do not recommend that you pay any deposit before this stage is completed. For this stage, we charge from £3,000 to £5,000 excluding VAT and disbursement. Disbursements could be any charges for documentation or reports that we may need. For simple matters, we do not anticipate that it will be more than £1,000 excluding VAT. If we are required to undertake ID checks, we charge an additional amount of £75.00 plus VAT per person or if we are required to confirm the companies records or undertake checks for the companies we would charge an additional fee of £30,00 plus VAT for each search we do.

If then you decide to proceed further to second stage,  then we will proceed to drafting the relevant documentations and complete the transaction. For this stage we charge from £2,500.00 to £3,500.00 excluding VAT and disbursement. The disbursement we anticipate will be for lodging the documents etc.

Please note, if the matter is complex and requires additional work or documents we reserve the rights to charge more fees. If we do, we shall let you know.

Commercial Conveyancing

We normally charge 1% excluding VAT of the sale or purchase amount. In more complex cases, we reserve the rights to charge additional fees. If that is the case, we will no doubt discuss this with you. Our prices does not include VAT. VAT rate is currently set at 20%. Our prices also does not include any disbursement. Disbursements could be searches relating to the property, obtaining reports, dealing with additional lenders requirements, ID checks and etc. We anticipate that your disbursement on simple transaction should not be more than £750.00 excluding VAT. For more complex and high value transaction these could be more.
