Alison Law Solicitors are proud to have raised £315.10 for Jeans for Genes. Our Manchester office participated in a fundraiser for the charity during the week beginning Monday 18th September 2020.
Jeans for Genes is a charity that aims to support and raise money for children who are affected by genetic disorders. It is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder with 30,000 babies and children being newly diagnosed in the UK each year.
All week our staff swapped their suits for jeans in exchange for a small donation to the charity. Dedicated members of staff then organised a social event that was held at our Manchester Office and following social distancing guidelines, whereby drinks and baked goods were sold and all proceeds going to the charity.
We also created a just giving page which is still active and available for anyone to make a donation regardless of how big or small.
